Day 4 - Dresden

Saturday, March 7 we drove from Prague to Dresden.  It was a cold and windy day, so we kept our sightseeing to a minimum.  We had a nice lunch, saw the Hofkirche, the Frauenkirche and had a delicious German dinner all within 2 blocks of our hotel.

Fourth and Final Trip Planning Session - New Years Eve

Bill and Debbie drove to St. Louis to see family for the holidays and to put the finishing touches on the trip.  On New Years Eve day, Debbie and Lisa started researching and booking the hotels.  We went to Charlie Gitto's on the Hill and had a delicious dinner.  After returning to the house, Greg and the kids came over to play pool and ring in the New Year.

The next day we attended the "annual" New Years Day Brunch at Dave and Kathy's. As usual the food and company were wonderful.

On Thursday, January 2, Debbie and Lisa continued researching and booking hotels.  It never ceases to amaze us just how long this process takes.  After booking the last hotel, we went over the trip and itinerary one last time.  Debbie will map our cities and look into purchasing advance tickets for the sites we plan to see.  Next time we get together will be at DFW to fly to Frankfurt.  We all can't wait.
