Third Trip Planning Session - Reunion/Barbecue

On October 4 Debbie and Bill came to St. Louis to attend the Smith Family Reunion.  On Friday evening we had a wonderful dinner at Charlie Gitto's on The Hill.

Saturday, October 5 was the reunion.  We managed to squeeze in some trip planning that evening.  On Sunday, October 6 the Kuthe's had a "brisket smoke" barbecue to celebrate Greg's 40th birthday.   It was a family affair and a great time was had by all.

On Monday, October 7 we spent the day finalizing the sites and plans.  When Debbie and Bill come to St. Louis for New Years Eve, we will book our hotels.  Germany/Czech Republic here we come.

Second Trip Planning Session - Unexpected trip to St. Louis

In early February, Debbie's Uncle Larry passed away.  Debbie and Bill came to St. Louis for the funeral.  Even though it was too early to book the flights, the decision was made to fly in and out of Frankfurt, Germany.  We would plan on visiting sites in Germany and Czechia.  We did find time to have dinner at Mama Campisi's with Dave, Kathy, Keith and Linda.  Now we just had to wait for April.

First Trip Planning Session - Where do we go next

Debbie and Bill came to St. Louis to celebrate New Years Eve.  We had a delicious dinner at Roberto's with Steve and Maryann Struckmeyer.

After brunch at Dave and Kathy's on New Years Day, we tried to narrow our trip choices down.  We contemplated Ireland, Southern Italy, Poland, Germany and Greece.  Destination would be determined by ticket availability.  We agreed on the dates of March 3-13, so we had to wait for Bill to book the first leg on April 11.
